Eclat Petroleum and Energy Resources Limited (EPE) will also focus on expanding on renewable and cleaner sources of energy in Nigeria as this is the future of the energy industry.

Eclat Oil and Gas International Ventures Limited  participated and prequalified in the 2020 Marginal Field Bid Rounds in Nigeria as part of a consortium. EPE is an E&P company and will develop and produce marginal fields in Nigeria using the most economical approach and best in class technology to bring the best return on investments.

​On 1 June 2020, the DPR launched a second marginal fields license round. The round contains up to 57 fields. The round offers indigenous companies (and their foreign investors) the opportunity to acquire individual assets on favourable terms.  Around 800 million barrels of liquid resources in total is on offer.
